Colombia Update: New government guidelines in connection with Covid-19
28/02/2022Recently, the Colombian Government decided to adopt the following measures in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic:
- Extend the sanitary emergency until April 30, 2022.
In consequence, the “Home-office” regulations are applicable until April 30, 2022.
However, in those cases in which it has been decided to implement hybrid work models (face-to-face work and remote work) or remote work modality indefinitely, we suggest initiating the pertinent actions to properly implement the Teletrabajo.
- Suspend the mandatory use of face masks in outdoor spaces in the cities where 70% or more of its population has a complete Covid-19 vaccination plan.
This measure applies only to outdoor activities, so the use of face masks will continue to be mandatory in closed spaces and on public transportation.
