Planning & Construction ISRAEL
16/08/2021We are pleased to present you with another issue of planning and construction lawyers with legislative updates and rulings by the courts and recently published appeals committees.
Following our reference to the draft Law of Arrangements in the previous issue, we note that the Arrangements Law was approved by the government and will now be brought for approval at first reading in the Knesset and for the treatment of the various committees.
We will also bring to your attention that the Law for promoting construction in preferred housing complexes (Temporary Order) (Amendment No. 7) 2021 has been approved and published. The provision extends the validity of the original law for an additional period of 4 years, establishes many additional changes as well as transitional provisions.
In addition, an amendment to the Planning and Construction Regulations (Building Licensing) was published that eliminates some of the corona regulations, including the cancellation of the extension of the validity of an information file by another year; reversing the validity of a decision to approve a permit application; invalidating a permit; and allowing an exemption applicant to grant a permit to ensure the completion of conditions in the permit.
