Italy Update: CALL FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PILOT PROJECTS – Ministry of Economic Development

Ministry of Economic Development (MISE) has published the call for the implementation of pilot projects that aim to promote and develop the production system in Italy. Each pilot project shall cover one or at most two of the following themes:

Competitiveness of the production system, in relation to the potential for the economic development of the area concerned:

  • enhancement of natural, cultural resources and sustainable tourism;
  • ecological transition;
  • self-entrepreneurship;
  • redevelopment of urban areas and inland areas.

Eligible operations:

  • investment projects;
  • start-up projects;
  • innovation projects;
  • investment projects in the field of primary agricultural production;
  • investment projects in the processing and marketing of agricultural products;
  • investment projects in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The call aims to promote and develop the production system on the national territory, also through the experimentation of innovative services to support companies. The concessions are granted according to the thematic area of the pilot project, it being understood that the maximum amount of the contribution that can be assigned to each pilot project is equal to € 10 million.
