Italy Update: Report on the situation of male and female staff – the deadline for sending is approaching

Companies with more than 50 employees, both public and private, must send by 30 September 2022 a report on the situation of male and female personnel, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 162 of 5 November 2021, which amended the so-called Equal Opportunities Code (Legislative Decree 198/2006).

If the report is not submitted, a penalty of 515 to 2,580 euros will be applied to the company.

If the non-compliance should last for more than 12 months, the suspension for 1 year of any contribution benefits enjoyed by the company will also be arranged. If the relationship is false or incomplete, the company will be fined from 1,000 to 5,000 euros.
