Saudi Arabia Update: MINISTRY OF COMMERCE SEEKS PUBLIC FEEDBACK ON DRAFT LAWS REGULATING COMMERCIAL TRANSACTIONS
07/01/2022Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce invited the public to send their feedback on the two draft laws regulating the commercial transactions and the commercial agency. The feedback will be received until Jan. 27, 2022.
The commercial transactions draft law comprises provisions regulating the commercial business and other terms related to merchants, commercial obligations, electronic registration, and others.
Meanwhile, the commercial agencies’ draft law seeks to develop a legal framework organizing relations between the agreement parties while maintaining their rights and ensuring transparency.
