What We Are Looking For
We are actively recruiting dynamic partner-level lawyers with significant international experience, with an established existing, portable client base of at least £200k, who are excited about the prospect of growing their own global practices, controlling their own futures, keeping more of their earnings, and growing and leading our organization into the future.
The opportunity suits those who are thinking about exiting or have recently exited high profile traditional firm roles, or top level in-house cross-border general counsel who have the desire and proven ability and track record to return to private practice at the highest global level.
In all cases, interested counsel must be self-starting, willing to work in a fast-moving and global environment and be interested in expanding their own practices further and leading a dynamic, global group on and through our unique, highly successful platform on an international scale, supported by over 4,500 counsel ready to work with and for them worldwide.
Lawyers can be based in key geographic business centers in the UK, EU, and the US.
We are looking particularly for cross-border generalists, international M&A, commercial and labor law counsel, international property lawyers, global power and energy industry counsel, private equity practitioners, cross-border bankruptcy and restructuring partners and regulatory counsel with a drive to succeed.
Backgrounds in such specialized sectors such as oil and gas, mining, biopharma, finance and other specialty areas will be considered if your background is truly international and compatible with a substantial international business law practice.
Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years in international cross-border experience with an international firm, or at the regional GC level in-house with a major corporation, be fluent in English, have a top-drawer private firm background, and preferably be conversant in one or more other foreign languages, with excellent blue-chip references and a track record of advising on top level cross-border business law issues as well as building a formidable client base.

Training and experience in a top international law firm or boutique
At least 8 years of international cross-border business law experience

Excellent blue-chip references and academic background
